| rubies: Christ (or Christopher) Mueller | I am looking for any records on my great-grandfather Christ (possibley Christopher) Mueller. He stated in the 1930 US Census that he was born around 1888 and came from Hungary. He was married to a Marie Wehofer who (from the story from my grandmother told me) died around 1924. My eldest great-aunt was born in 1912 so I believe that they would have been married by that time.
Their children were (birthyears are approximate) Ella, 1912; Alvina, 1913; Gould, 1915; Frieda (my grandmother), 1917; and John, 1920. All born in the US.
The family had spent time in Illinois and Wisconsin, but ultimitley settled in Ohio, where Christ owned and operated a bakery.
He retired to Coldwater, MI with his second wife, Clara and from what I've been told, passed away in the 1960s.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
