Michelle

By Praag do you mean Prague aka Praha, Czech Republic? Was English already their common language?

patnovaknelson: Novak/Burgermeier
I am searching for any relatives of Josef Novak b. 1875
and his wife Juliana Burgermeier, b. 1878, who immigrated to
the U.S. through Ellis Island in May, 1903 with their three
children, Maria, Elizabeth and Louis/Alois. They went directly to Turtle Lake, Wi where they farmed and had nine
more children including my father.

We know they lived in Ploschitz/Plocica, Hungary at the time
they came to this country. Other names of Jacob, Zirkle and
LaBon have been mentioned but nothing specific. We know nothing of their families.

Any connections out there???

Pat Novak Nelson
