I am looking for information on NYOMARKAY Erzsabet b. 1804 died 1870- Lastocz Zemplen Hungary . She married CZOVEK Mihaly in 1830 in a nearby village called Mihalyi. Thanks

Still haven't found any crests,etc or info on Nyomarkay family other than the Morman info since I last mailed you. Any luck?

Not really, just started working on that side of the family again , I am making some progress on the CZOVEK surname . I went to Kosice Slovakia in 2003 and did some research in the State archives ,while I was there I talked to a local , possibly a genealogist who told me the Nyomarkay ,s were a noble family , but we already knew that , good to hear from you , e mail me sometime, Happy New Year !

Hi,

Nyomarkay Erzsebet (Nyomárkay Erzsébet) was the eldest child, the daughter of Nyomarkay Daniel (Dániel, b.1834) and Kortvelyesy Anna (köleshosszúmezei Körtvélyesy Anna) Daniel was the son of Zsigmond (Sigismund, 1722-1810). Both males wee members of the landed gentry in county Zemplén, with holdings in Lasztócz among others.
