	Tracey Ocskai If anyone see this I would like to find out the history on my family. My grandfather name was John Ocskai. He married a women that he met in New York after he came the U.S. Her name was Tersa Haas. Take a look in Ellis Island website. www.ellisislandrecords.org OCSKAI : Jan, Janos = John. When did he come to America? You need to backtrack from yourself finding information on your parents, their parents, their parents, etc. That is how you start a family tree. Was your HAAS ancestor naturalized citizen? Did she have social security numbers? http://ssdi.rootsweb.com Those two forms will have her place of birth.
