married Maria in 1913. Lived in Pennsylvania first then onto
Ohio. Born in 1888 or 1889. Last residence SZ Hungary

Be a dear and please tell me under what spelling is his Ellis Island manifest since you say he came thru EI.

I do not find anyone coming thru EI using www.stevemorse.org from SZ Hungary or from Slestovo.

Since you did provide a clue, Slestovo, Czechoslovakia - www.cgsi.org I went looking at the PERESZTAs that came thru EI. Found PERCZSTA from Szelesto; PERESZTA from Szelesto, Szelesta, Seleszto, Szekesta which was in Bereg megye, Hungary, for a short while in Czechoslovakia and now Ukraine.

Wasyl PERESTA arr. in 1913 thru Ellis Island from Hovaszko - Havaskoz, Ung megye, Hungary now Ukraine.

Found a Laszlo PERESSTA (Pereszta) arr. in 1906 from Sz.M... but if you look on his manifest it says Sz. Miklos. He was going to Rankin, Pa to ? HURCSANIK
