mdpilter: Pilter
have only been on internet for 6 months. Decided to try family name, Pilter. I am originally from Newcastle upon Tyne. Believe my father traced our family line back to 1700`s or so. Not many with same name in this country. Perhaps 10 or 12.
Fascinated to know, or hope, that there may be a connection in your country.
Would love any communication

Hi!

I'm István Pilter from Hungary. I'm living in Budapest but my family(my mother Jolán, father János and my sister Edina living in Halimba, a small village in the heart of the bakony, near the lake Balaton).
I'd like to trace back our familytree. There are three two different Pilter family in Hungary. I hope we are relatives. But unfortunately I have no enough time...

How about your family? Have you find any root in Hungary?
