ibmagz: Conrad Pistel

I am looking for any information on my father, Conrad (no middle name) Pistel. he was born in New Jersey USA in 1922, died in Az USA in 2001. He has 4 children and 3 grandchildren, and was a good dad. Curiousity, and a new computer make me want to honor this man... he worked and lived in southern California for 40 years. I believe he served in the army in thePhillipines in WW2. He was an areospace engineer, graduate of UCLA, married Carolyn Quinn in about 1950.

You have important information about your father. Are you working on the family tree?

Take a look at the 13 PISTELs that passed thru Ellis Island. You might find an ancestor.

You can request your father's SS-5Form (social security numbers) and there should be name of his parents. In any case, you need to locate a name of a town in order to proceed with the research.
