Keresem a II. világháború előtti Plichtákat. A család Érsekújvárban élt, tizenvalahányan voltak testvérek. A háború után némely rokon magyarosított, lsd Pápai. Egyikük Franciaországba települt. Mai magyarországi és szlovákiai fiatalok is érdekelnek.

Surname PLICHTA is a famous in the Central Bohemia - part of the Czech Republic. Jan Plichta ze Zerotina (John Plichta from Zerotin) was one of the famous knight in the Czech Kingdom during King John Luxemburg era (till 1310 to 1346). Jan Plichta died during the Battle near Muhldorf (1322). One part of my family lives in Prague (capital of the Czech Republic), other members lives near Kosice (city on the Eastern side od Slovak Republic). And whar does PLICHTA means in Czech language ? It means Equal or Tie (tie-break in tennis). Best regards. Radek Plichta

Hi,
My name is Angela Plichta, (my maiden name is Sarkozy) from Budapest. So we are big family here. I have 3 elder sisters, my father's have too. What could I tell you about this family? My grandfather came from Fiume, he was lawyer, as I know, his brothers was also lawyers.
I know these are new info but I have also heard about Jan Plichta of Zerotine from my grandmother. Could it be, that we are relatives? (I am sorry for my poor English, I have to refresh it)

I maintain several databases of PLICHTA information from around the world. I am interested in collecing PLICHTA information about all PLICHTA families. Please send me your ancestor information; names, dates, cities and marriages and children for each generation.
I have visited Zerotina in 2006 and seen the unfinished church that Plichta built.
