I have a Ravaszdy Elizabeth marrying a Zsigmond in my family. Bydeskuti Kun Tamas and Szénássy Margit had three boys (c. 1638)and Zsigmond was one of them. Zsigmond married Ravaszdy Elizabeth and their children became the Felfoldi Ag of the Bydeskuti Ippy Kun family. Bydeskuti Kun Janos (c. mid-1400's) is the patriarch. He married Vérvölgyi Margit. A család székhelye eredetileg Közép-Szolnok, Belső-Szolnok vármegye volt, hol több falut birtokoltak, Tasnádszarvad, Bályok, Keszteg, Pestere stb. és a Ravazdy/Ravaszdy család szintén közös eredetű, (idézet Petri Mór: Szilágy vármegye monográfiája V. kötetéből és Borovszky Samu: Bihar vármegye és Nagyvárad című könyvéből.). 	mravasdy: Re: Ravasdy I am Mark Ravasdy. 1911 my great grandparents entered america thtough ellis island new york and where changed from ravazdi to ravasdy. We are from hungary. our new name is unique. our family is small. there is my brother doug, myself, my father and my brother's son Jack carrying the name.
