	Krissy: Renyak Looking for relatives in the Clearfield County, PA area with surname Renyak. My great grandmother's madian name was Anna Renyak. She married Michael Andryko (Andrejko, Andrake)and died at a young age (about 28/29) around 1898-1900. She came to USA at least by 1893 from Austria/Hungary/Slovakia area. If you want to research your ancestral roots, you need to locate a name of a town. The LDS-Mormons (Family History Center) have filmed the church records but you need the name of a town and religious orientation of your ancestor to order the films. www.bmi.net/jjaso to familiarize yourself with church wording. 11 RENYAKs passed thru Ellis Island and there is an Anna that passed thru in 1892 and she was from Sztropko which is Stropkov, Slovak Republic. 	Krissy: Re: Renyak Thank you so much for your reply. I have seen the Anna Renyak that came through in 1892 on the Ellis Island website and I really think that is her but I have to prove it. There are no records at the courthouse of where she lived and died here in Pennsylvania...at least not at the county she lived in. 	Meghan L: Ballas/Renyák in Windber,PA I am looking for information on my 2nd-great grandparents, Julius BALLAS and Alzbeta RENYÁK (aka Elizabeth Renick). Alzbeta was from Slovakia (then Austria-Hungary) and she had 8 children: Mike, Joe, Emma, Helen, Elizabeth, Margaret, Josephine, and John (my great-grandfather). I think all were born in Somerset County, PA (specifically in Windber), except my great-grandfather who was born and baptised in Stropkov, Slovakia in 1911 (Alzbeta was visiting family there when she gave birth to John). Julius and Elizabeth are buried in a cemetery in Windber, Somerset County, PA (I don't know the name of the cemetery). I am trying to find out when exactly they died (perhaps around 1960s-70s - at least Elizabeth was) and they were probably born around 1890s. Depending on the religion of your ancestor but only Moravany's Reformed Church show up in LDS.
