Although there were lots of placenames with Sós=Salty in Hungary, Sósvár(i) wasn't one of them, and no such a name exist as far as I can tell.
On the other hand, you may run into an other Sasvar, correctly spelled Sásvár(Sás=Sedge, in Hungarian "á" is a separate letter and sounds differently than "a"), today called Tiszasásvár and falls into Ukraine (Tisza is a river in eastern Hungary). Anyway, Sásváry(i) is not a common name at all, compare to Sasvári(y) which is. |
