| Steven: Schimicsek | | Dear forum members, I'm looking for information about the name of my grandmother; Schimicsek. The information I have states that she spoke Hungarian and came from Vojvodina. Her family moved to Bottrop, Germany before 1911. She then moved to the Netherlands in 1935. This name is spelled with tz in Germany and in other countries and indeed it seems with cs in Hungary.
