I am looking for any genealogy or history from a Peter Sedlacek who migrated to the USA in 1914 from Austria Hungary. He was married to a Lonisa and had three children, George, Henry and Martha. Please email me if you have any information. Thank you

Do you have a place of birth for this Peter SEDLACEK?
Did he come thru Ellis Island? www.ellisislandrecords.org
I wish I knew. Only thing we have is his certificate from when he came to the US in 1914. He was 51 at the time. The certificate does not hold much info. I will check these out. Thank you very much
Please explan what "certificate" you have in your posession? Is it Naturalization Certificate? Is it his manifest? There has to be something on that "certificate" of use?
What language did your ancestor speak?
Surname SEDLACEK shows up, present time, in Czech Republic's, Slovak Republic's, Slovenia's, Austria's, Hungary's, Germany's and Croatia's phone book.
Is Lonisa a surname or a first name?
Lonisa is listed on the Certificate of Naturalization. Listed as wife, Lonisa 47 yrs Manitowoc Wisconsin. It lists three children, one of which is my husbands grampa George. Not sure what language, but on the certificate it says from Austria Hungary
The certificate of Naturalization does not provide much information. Might you want to request his naturalization petition? That form should have a place of birth, which you need in order to proceed with the research.
15 Franz SEDLACEKs arrived www.ellisislandrecords.org
Is your ancestor among them?
Some of Frank's US documents should have his place of birth. Was he naturalized citizen? Did he have social security numbers? Did he marry in America? His draft registration form might have his place of birth.
We should be able to help you with your research provided you have a place of birth.
