	rupeg: Silmann or Sillmann I am looking for further information on my family. The Radix surname index lists 1 SIlmann - my father and 1 Sillmann my uncle. They were 2 of 13 children of Izidor Silman of which at least 7 Rudolf, Dezso, Jeno, Paula, Helen, Stella, Frida who survived the holocaust. I found one died in munkaszolgalatosag in neveklarsfeld site Any help in locating further relatrives or other information would be greatly appreciated. 	rupeg: Re: Silmann or Sillmann Daniele If you were looking at the Radix site, does this mean that you belong to the Hungarian Silmans. If yes, it is very likely that we are related as all the Silmans in various spellings on either Radix or Neveklarsfeld are immediate family. I have also traced my Grandfather, Izidor's place of birth back to Baia Mare in Romania in 1878 or 1875 I have also uncovered other Jewish Silman's from Latvia and Lithuania but not yet had the chance to establish a link. 	Zlatica : Pasztjerik Frans Surname PASTIERIK shows up in Slovak Republic's phone book. www.zoznamst.sk Janos(ne) and Cecilia PASZTJERIK arriving in 1910 in America were from Felsoricso which is now Horny Hricov, Slovak Republic. http://mapy.atlas.sk for locating a town. I have not been able to fully establish the link but the information I have is that they are indeed a relative. I am in touch with members of that family in Haifa Israel. The family tree I have is listed below Silman Noe married Hany Gewűrtz. Child: Herman 1856 Herman Silman married in 1882 Leb (Izsak)Zseni. Child.: Noa 1883 Selman Samuel married Berta Springer.
