Hello Alise!

"Slota" is a Slovak name, meaning "slat" in English (that is, a "thin narrow strip of wood"). "Slotta" is the actual phonetic form as the name is pronounced in Hungarian. (Double consonants we - unlike English speakers - pronounce with a stress). There are many Slovak names in use in Hungary - and vica versa!
