| Dieter: Austrian/Canadian branch | I've always been interested in my grandfather's (Josef Stefely) side of the family, although I know little because he was orphaned as a child.
I have been told that Josef was born 22.01.1915 in Stein am Aiger and that he grew up in Zueberbach, in Niederoesterreich, close to the Austrian border with Hungary.
I have been unable to confirm whether his father (my great-grandfather) was named Wagner (sic?) Stefely.
My connetion is through my father, Gerhard Stefely.
