	rox_mol: Re: Strausz Hi, My greatgrandfather was Strausz Lajos. He lived in Vajdahunyad ( now Hunedoara, Romania). His daughter, Josefine was married to Csucs Lajos. Their son, Nandor, born in Rakosd (1890) was my maternal grandfather. Josephine Strausz had a brother, Adolf Strauss, married to Anna Fuchs. 	mesnyc: Re: Strausz Hi Roxana There are many similar names in your family and there could be a connection. My Strausz family was originally from Zeteny Hungary, (now Zatin Slovakia). My grandfather was also Lajos Strausz which became Louis Strauss when he immigrated to the United States. Our Lajos was the son of Adolf/Abraham Strausz and Fannie Deutsch. If your Strausz family has connections to this same area, there may be a connection.
