	Nora: SZALLER I am looking for information on my great grandfather and his brother. My great grandfather was named Joseph Szaller and had a brother who's name I do not know. I have no clue to where he was born...just that he was born in Hungary. I know that he was born around 1896 and around his 20's...he, his brother and their grandmother I believe came to America. The grandmother passed away enroute....once in America the brothers split. One went south (that would be my great grandfather) and the other went west. 	Nora: Re: SZALLER My father had searched and found his manifest about 10 years ago and he was a naturalized citizen. The problem with the manifest is that you cannot read the section of what port he came from and it only says hungary is where he was from. His parents: Gyorgy Szaller and Borbala Vajcs Gyorgy Szaller died in Csatka 21 August,1930,age 72. His parents name are unknown. Gyorgy Szaller's wife Borbala Vajcs died in Csatka, 6 February,1909 age 50. 	kezdi: Re: SZALLER Nora, Ellis Island has many spelling mistakes. Luckily, with the OneStep search programm it can be overcame. These are the Szallers from Csatka. Gyorgy, possible the father, has three arrivals, Jozsef and Rosalia could be the siblings. Keep in mind, that the birth year also can be inaccurate for various reasons. 	Zlatica : Re: SZALLER Nora You do have the most important thing for continuation into the research, a name of a town. The village of Csatka is in Veszprem megye. Check into the church records.
