Christine: Szamel

I am still working on information related to the family name Szamel from Funfkirchen. Adolf (who was born August 31, 1879 came to America in 1902. He apparently had a sister who came before him according to Ellis Island Records.

His parents were John (Johann) Szamel and Barbara Jordan. Any information would be appreciated

Rácz László: keresgélek

Anyai ágon Számel nevű felmenőimet 1822-ig sikerült visszakeresnem, a szlovákiai Ocsováról származnak. Az 1850-es évekbe került ükapám a magyarországi Nagybánhegyesre, majd leszármazottai Medgyesegyházára. Ezen az ágon előforduló nevek még: Czajchan, Jambrich, Bezzegh.
Eddigi információimat bárkivel szivesen megosztom, és szivesen veszek bármilyen segítséget is!

Thank you for this help. I looked at the Czajchan and Jambrich family trees on myheritage.com and see you are the one who posted that information. Would you be interested in trying to share information to determine if your family tree and my ancestors are somehow interconnected. I do know that my great grandfather - Adolf Szamel - moved to Pecs (Funfkirchen) at some point and have church records from that area. Thank you for your assistance and time.

Köszönöm a levelet. Én csak magyarul beszélek, de itt meg tudja nézni a Számeleket akiket én megtaláltam. Ők a Szlovákiai Zvolen megyéből, Ocsováról származnak.
