Cynthia: Seeking Hungarian relatives
I'm seeking Hungarian relatives who I know still live in Hungary. My grandfather was Pal Szekunda, born Jul 19, 1882, arrived in U.S April 16, 1905. He was a shoemaker and according to Ellis Island records it appears that that his father, also Pal, immigrated a few years earlier.

My grandmother was Erzsebet Uzsoros born Jan 01, 1890 in Hejce, Abau Torna, Hungary. I've attached their wedding picture. They immigrated to Wallingford, New Haven, Connecticut, USA. I've attached a copy of their wedding photo. They married in the U.S.

Cynthia: Re: Seeking Hungarian relatives
Thank you for your response. I'm sorry, but I was not notified by email about it.

Actually, there are a couple of Szekundas in Nagykanizsa - a Jeno and Györgi and I have both those names in my family tree - I found them in the Hungarian online phone book and I believe they are related to me. I think they are the descendants of my great-grandfather and his second wife - so they would be 1/2 second cousins. I suspect they do not speak English, however.

My grandfather was from Fülesd, Szatmár, Hungary. Attached is a photo of him that I just saw for the first time in my life. I'm curious what type of clothing this is - does it represent a certain time period or era?
