Hello E.James!
I'm Mária Szerdi from Láca, Hungary. I didn't find the birth of Gizella Szerdi in the local registration. My father's sister, Irén Szerdi told me that her father (my grandfather), Béla Szerdi had a brother, his name was István Szerdi. His daughter called Gizella, but we
don't know the date of her birth. This family moved to the USA before the II. World War.
There is no more Szerdi family in the village.

Hi my name is Stephen Ballok MY Grandmother's name is
Erzsebet Szerdi Born August 25 1895 in LACA.
Her husbands name was Istvan, he had a broter Janos
both from Laca.

Hi, glad to see your letter!
I think, your grandmother was my grandfather's sister. My grandfather's sisters named Erzsébet and Zsófia, his brothers named Ferenc and István. Their parents: Ferenc Szerdi and Zsófia Papp.

I've had a such done on the Ballok side & it goes back to
the year 1780 with all the info on the birth , deaths
also what they did & how they past away.
I live in Canada I've sent a picture of my PULI Rocky

Üdvözlöm, kedves Szerdi Béla ! Az én Édesapám és Nagyapám is ugyanezt a nevet viselte, családunk a Borsod-A-Z. megyei Lácáról ( 1950-től Lácacséke ) származik. A fentebb látható, angolul írt bejegyzéseken keresztül megtaláltam Amerikában élő rokonaimat, akikkel azóta is kapcsolatot tartunk interneten. Köszönet a lehetőségért a Radix Fórum létrehozóinak.
