nadine: Szoboscan, Taller, Galgoczi, Fejes
I am looking for relatives that are related to Taller from Gyor County. Katherine Taller and her sister came to the US. They are first cousins to my mother, Irma Galgoczi-Fejes Szabo. They will be related to the Galgoczi/Galgoczy from Gyor County, or Fejes from Sopron (or areas close by). Katherine Taller is below, her father is Andrew Taller, her mother is Theresa ?, she married Michael Szobocsan. Katherine went first to Chicago, Illinois, then South Bend, Indiana. She was 101 years old when she died!

Katherine Szobocsan (Nov. 24, 1897 - Feb. 10, 1999)
SOUTH BEND - Katherine Szobocsan, 101, of Regency Place, formerly of South Carlisle Street, passed away at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 10, in the nursing center.
Mrs. Szobocsan was born on Nov. 24, 1897 in Gyor, Hungary, to Andrew and Theresa Taller, and had lived in South Bend, Ind., since 1915.
On May 24, 1919, in Chicago, Ill., as Katherine Taller, she married Michael Szobocsan, who died on Aug. 4, 1973. She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Steve Szobocsan, who died on Jan. 10, 1997; a granddaughter, Carol Szobocsan; and by six brothers and sisters.
She is survived by a son, Eugene (Mary Ann) Szobocsan of Granger, Ind.; and by a grandson, John Szobocsan of Chicago.
Mrs. Szobocsan was a member of Our Lady of Hungary Church, the St. Ann Society, and the Sacred Heart and Rosary Society.
Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 13, in Our Lady of Hungary
Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Avenue, where a Rosary will be recited at 3 p.m. by the St. Ann Society and the Sacred Heart and Rosary Society.

Irene Taller is below, her father is Andrew Taller, her mother is Theresa ?; she married three times, 1) Nicholas Molnar, 2) ? Nyikos, and 3) Gabor Wegh. She was born in Koronco.

Mrs. Irene Wegh
Mrs. Irene (Molnar) Wegh, 82, of 1905 S.Grant, died at 10:30 p.m. Sunday in Healthwin Hospital after a seven-month illness. She was a retired employee of the Studebaker Corp. She was born on June 17, 1894, in Koronczo , Hungary, and lived here 66 years. In September of 1945, in South Bend, she married Gabor Wegh, who died in 1952. Surviving are two sons, Joseph M. Nyikos of South Bend and Andrew Molnar, both of South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. Helen Papandria of South Bend; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, and three sisters, Mrs. Michel Szobocsan of South Bend, and Mrs. Emery Prizenger and Mrs. Anna Sardi, both of Hungary

Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday in the Zahoran Funeral Home. Mrs. Wegh was a member of the St. Anne Society, the Sacred Heart and Rosary Society, and the Harvest, all of our Lady of Hungary Church, and the William Penn Club. The St. Anne Society will recite a rosary at 7:30 p.m. today in the funeral home and the Sacred Heart and Rosary Society will recite a rosary at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
