| Fahrt: The roots of Szohner | Hello,
I’m from Poland. My surname is Szochner. In pronunciation it’s the same as Szohner. Could anybody give me an information if ‘szohner’ means anything in Hungarian language? I’m also looking for my relatives. I could establish my roots up to second half of XIX. I do not know what was before. Maybe I’m on right track, maybe my great-grandfathers arrived from Hungary. Does any Szohner know if his family emigrated to Poland in XVIII or XIX century?
