Siegrid: General Ferenc(z) Szombathelyi
Hello,

I am researching General Ferenc(z) Szombathelyi, the Chief of Staff of the Hungarian Army from 1941-1944. He was from Gyor, son of a shoemaker and his family name was Knausz. He was my grandmother's cousin. His sister was married to a Jeno Buszek from Szepesseg. I am trying to find out if the general had any other siblings or children.

O lakot 1945-ig Gyor-Gyarvarosban mint Revai Miklos gymnazista szulei id. Juraszko Lajos szovomester es Knausz Erzsebetel. Anya reszerul rokonok voltak vitez Szombathelyi (Knausz) Ferenc Magyar Honvedi vezerezredesel.
Gyaszoljak Australiaban ozvegye Ruth, gyerekei Christine, Peter, Carolyn es hazasparaik es 6. unokajai. Elhunyt novere Szabone Komorek Margit csaladja Ozdban es Amerikaban lako huga Voelkelne Juraszko Margit es csaladja.

Obituary
Louis Frank Juraszko junior, former Royal Australian Armoured Corps Reserve First Lieutenant, passed away aged 78 in Brisbane, Australia on 22nd May, 2010.
He resided until 1945 in Gyor-Gyarvaros as Revai Miklos high schooler with his parents Lajos Juraszko senior, loom technician, and Erzsebet Knausz. On his maternal side they were related to vitez Ferenc (Knausz) Szombathelyi, 3-star General of the Hungarian Army.
Mourned in Australia by his widow Ruth, children Christine, Peter, and Carolyn with spouses and 6 grandchildren; his deceased older sister Szabo (Komorek) Margit’s family in Ozd and in America residing younger sister Voelkel (Juraszko) Margit and family.
