LOUISE STOYKA WHITE: MY AUNT ILONA TIHOR

I have been searching for information on my Aunt Helen (Ilona) Tihor. She was born in Feketepatek 1900 and came to
Chicago, Ill USA where she married Balint Sztojka from Visk, Hungary (my grandfather's brother. If there is any information on the family or birth records I would be interested in learning about them. There is very little information about her siblings or parents. Thank you for your interest.

The LDS-Mormons website is listing church records of Feketepatak so you can order them and gather ancestral information.
If you use One Step/Gray form to locate an Ellis Island manifest, you should find that there were 8 people from Feketepatek, 55 from Feketepatak,12 TIHORs with two from Fakatepatak/Fehetefatah and 3 SZTOJKAs from Visk.
www.stevemorse.org Seems that Janos SZTOJKA arriving in 1913 was going to his brother Balint Sztojka. Some of TIHORs and SZTOJKAs might be your ancestors' siblings. You need to register to www.ellisislandrecords.org but no money.
