My g-grandmother was Katalin Udvari b. 1860, d.o. Joszka. She m. Josif Szombati of Farkasmezo abt 1889. They had the following children in Hadad:
Zsofi
Katalin
Joszka
Rosza b. 1896 (my grandmother m. Gyorgy Ferenczi of Csokmany/Ciocmani)
another brother, name unknown

As I know, Banffy was only my grandfather who lived in Hadad (his wife was Mária Wesselényi de Hadad). Please let me know more about you, about this Banffy family I can tell you a lot.

Thank you for your reply and I am sorry that I did not check sooner for it.
I lived in Hodod with my parents and brother up to 1944. We had an apartment in the courtyard of the Banfi estate. My father was a doctor. I used to play with Tamas and Bela and I knew their parents. I would like to hear what happened to Tamas and Bela? I live in the US now for many years. Last time I was in Hodod I went to the Banfi estate but only met Mihaly Bacsi, who is now dead--he was the horse caretaker for the Banfis.
I am a businessman being educated in the US and wide businesses in the food industry over the world.
Tell me about yourself, please. Where do you live and how are you related to Tamas and Bela?
