This was just recently posted by Peter Nagy in various Forums. Also the Slovak government drafted a law to compensate victims of ethnic based punishments in Czechoslovakia:

Recently the online list of unidentified landowners was published at http://www.geoportal.sk/roep/
The list covers about 50% of the Slovak territory and is continuously updated. There are listed the landowner who did not updated their land records for many years. Most of them are probably dead and the heirs did not claim yet their heritage. Many times is the reference to owners more than 100 years old, thus this is a very valuable tool also for genealogists.

I am who posted the message concerning the uclaimed properties. IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH COMPENSATION OF VICTIMS OF ETHNIC BASED PUNISHMENT.

Do you understand period., new sentence, also? The two subject maybe just coincidents, but the 1/2 million Hungarians victims who signed up so far for the compensation, and hopefuly reading the messages will find it useful and spread the news. Some of them as I understand not able to get back the right property. I don't think need to speculate here why.

Erdős Pál vagyok Geszt községből, Békés megyéből.

Itt Békés megyében Kunágota község határában volt monyorói báró Urbán Péter országgyűlési képviselő és felesége uradalma.

A birtok 1109 katasztrális hold terjedelmű volt, a birtokot Urbántanya néven emlegették.

Felrakok róla, egy képet.

Urbán Péter, Horthy Miklós kormányzó sógora is volt, mivel felesége és Horthyné, testvérek voltak.
