Dédnagyapám Vasvári Ernő volt, aki Szombathelyen született. Az ő édesapját Vasvári Józsefnek hívták, és szintén Szombathelyen született. A család állítólag valamikor Csukits - Csukics-ról magyarosított Vasvárira. Ha valaki tud valamit a Szombathelyi Vasváriakról, szívesen venném!

Deanna: Looking for Vasvari Relatives

Hello...I am looking for information on my grandmother Etelka Vasvari born to Bela Vasvari and Zsuzsanna Szabo. Specifically if I have any relatives still in Hungary. She immigrated to the US in 1920 with her son, my father. I have her birth information but not any marriage information for information on her parents. If anyone can help me I would be most grateful!

Vasvari, Etelka Budapest, Hungary 34 1886 1920
Vasvari, Fibor Budapest, Hungary 8 1912 1920 (his first name is Tibor] Their last residence was Budapest and place of birth Desavany. Both of them were naturalized citizen. Etelka left a Julan VASVARI in Budapest.

My grandmother's father was Ernő Vasvári, énd my grandmother was Hajnalka Vasvári. She had 6 siblings, but none of them called Etelka...
Their names were Vasvári, what was "Vertetics" some times ago. Maybe it's a croatian name.
