t_white: Velcsov / Welcsow

Looking for information on Stefan Velcsov b. 20 Dec. 1856, in Perlasz, who married Katarina Schaffner in Feb. 1881. His parents were Francis Velcsov and Julja Bartolowich.
Her parents were Andreus Schaffner and Julja Palayaz. Family name appears on passenger manifests as Velcsov AND Welcsow. Looking for family information, possible relatives.

8 VELCSOVs, 2 WELCSOVs and 3 WELCSOWs came thru EI but only Welcsows from Perlasz. If you use One Step/Gray form to locate an Ellis Island manifest www.stevemorse.org there were also VELCZOVs and WELCOW from Perlasz.
The town of Perlasz is in Torontal megye http://lazarus.elte.hu/hun/maps/1910 but at present time in former Yugoslavia
Take a look in this site www.genealogienetz.de/reg/ESE/dsinfo.htm
You might have to hire a researcher or send a request to the archive or church for ancestral information. The LDS-website is not listing any church records as being filmed from Perlasz / Perlas,now Perlez, Serbia.
