Én a szük rokonságon kívül senkit sem ismerek.

Üdvözlettel: Wartha Attila

Kathy: Re: családunk tágabb értelemben
I am looking for information on my g-grandfather Stephen Wartha born August 14, 1860 in Pamhagen to Andreas Wartha and Theresia Schaler. He sailed for the US from Hamburg, Germany in Aug of 1880 arrived at the port of New York in September of 1880. He married Gazella Kertesz in South Bend, Indiana, USA in Nov 1881. I would like to know of his life before leaving Pamhagen and if there is any way of finding information on the ship he sailed on? His Naturalization Document lists Tafonia but I can't find a vessel by that name in any records. Please reply or tranlate in English. Warm regards, Kathy Rosenthal, Montana USA

Dear Wartha Attila,
I do not speak Hungarian but I know someone that translated your inquiry for me. I too am looking for Wartha's in Hungary. I posted a requested below yours on the Wartha name. My g-grandfather Stephen WARTHA came from Pamhagen, Hungary in 1881 to settle in South Bend, Indiana USA as did two of his nephews Lawrence and Michael WARTHA. If you would like to reply I would like to know if there is a relationship here between the families.
Best regards,
Kathy
