Elizabeth: Zaicz family history

I am interested in finding out more of my husbands family. He was born in Vienna, 1931 and migrated to Australia in 1951, there is a large family here and we would be pleased to hear from anyone of that family name

Hi,

There were quite a few Zsaicz living in Bukovina, all descended from a Janos/Johann Zsaicz, born about 1789.

It's not a common surname, so wonder if there is some connection. Were your Zsaicz always in Vienna, or did they emigrate there from elsewhere?
