The date is surmised to be at the turn-of-the-century, from the clothing, and persons therein at the time. An exact date/year is unknown. The person in the photo is the father-in-law of Erno Tomscanyi, as his daughter, Olga, married. May we correspond off-forum ? I would be interested in knowing ANYTHING about the old town, and the names therein...your immigrant ancestor, included. THIS person came to the U.S. in 1913, with two of his daughters(and a granddaughter), and leaving his son, and another daughter, behind. Anticipating further correspondence.
