| John's message contains some striking similarities. My mother, Rosa Vecsey, was born in Futok, very close to Novi-Sad. in 1905--very close in age to your mother. Your dad was born in Ujvidek (now Novi-Sad), which is where my grandfather met his future wife; I was also born there. One of my mother's sisters, Elisabeth Vecsey, married a Mr. Braunstein, an ethnic German, in Filipowa--is it possible that this is the woman in the town's records with the maiden name of Vecsey? | ||
