Veliki Lazy is a tiny village. Everyone knows everyone else. I travelled there 5 years ago. Had hired an interpreter and driver. The driver stopped a man outside and inquired about Frank and was told exactly where my cousin lived. I had not mever been in contact with them, nor even knew of their existence. It had taken me about 20 years just to locate the village. It was shocking to learn that it was now in Ukraine. I had left there in 1929. What a pleasant surprise for all of us. My Dolgos cousin lived a few doors away - older than I. Wish I could return but the trip is difficult for the elderly. Good Luck!
Barbra Mitroka was my paternal grandmother's maiden name and I did not inquire further about it then. I became interested in genealogy following my return home. Too bad.
