Hello everyone, my name is Helen Marothy. For a long time my family and I have been searching for our relatives in Hungary, who lived in Gyor. My family lives in Tbilisi, Georgia. My grandfather arrived here during World War 1. He was taken a prisoner by the Russian army and sent to Syberia. From there he was transferred to Tbilisi and started his family here. He kept relations with his family in Gyor till 1937, when he was executed by shooting by Soviet government. My grandmother kept contacts for a while but later was too scared to do so and since 1957 there has been no contact with our relatives in Hungary. I would really like to take the opportunity and try to use this forum to try and find out relatives.
