| Hello I am Sarika Meszaros searching for my fathers family (Sandor (Alec) Meszaros August 26 1940).
My father was sent to New Zealand around from Budapest around 1959, I think the family lived in Pest and in district IX. I beleive my Grandmothers name to be Etol (bad spelling sorry) born 6th of either March or May 1914. Dad was sent to New Zealand with a brown Hungarian Bible with faded names and dates in the back cover (family names). So of it was very faded so some of the following details as in spelling and months maybe incorrect. Anyu March or May 6th 1914 Thoresi March or May 23rd 1939 Sandor (maybe Alec my Dad) 26th August 1940 Gyuszi Jan, June or July 22nd 1944 Imre Nov 30th 1946 Moniko Feb 3rd 1949 Eto Oct 3rd 1950 Loszsiko Jan, June or July 1957 I was told my Grandmother died approximately 23 years ago in Budapest. I am not sure if any of my Dads siblings left Hungary for other countires at all. I have 3 brothers Sandor, Lazslo, Darry and me Sarika. I have 2 nephews and 2 neices all live in New Zealand. I currently live in Australia. Dad past away and I am heading to Hungary in 2008 to celebrate my 30th and to take my Father home.
