I am trying to find my relatives including a sister that I have never met.
My mother Ilona Racs formerly Csetenyi was born in Karcag Ja’sznagykun Szolnok Grmum Bacsi Istvanne Mezotur which I believe is in the plains to the South of Budapest and came to live in the city with her parents living at 155 Hungaria Korut XIV Kerulet Budapest. My mother had two daughters Maria who died in 1972 and Ilona Racs who would be about 50 years old now. I would imagine that she would have married and her name would be different. My mothers mother (Ilona Csetenyi Ja’nosne) was last heard from in 1973. I believe she had remarried in 1966 and her name is Kliment Lajosne. In 1973 she was living in a bungalow at St Endre. I would guess she has passed on by now. This is all the detail that I know of my mothers side.
My Father Ferenc Mazzag comes from a town Hotto in Zalargaseg near the Austrian border. I have pictures of his parents’ graves and details of 2nd cousins Gyalog Josfne, hotto Teshand 8991 Zala Megge Hungary and 3rd cousins Gyalag Janos 8995 Zalaseb Szechenyi U.12 Hungary. Nothing has been heard from these people for several years so they may no longer be alive.
