I would like to find my husbands ancestor and family of Liborius Baumgartner (born 1825-1832), married with Adelheide Sandor de Slavnitza (born in 1829 in Trencsen (Trencin),Slovakia). Liborius Baumgartner should be my husbands great, great, great grand father. They were living in northern Slovakia Csacsa and Zolna (Cadca and Zilina), they had more children which were mostly living in Slovakia. One daughter Juliana was married with Janos Zamaróczy which nephews were Zigmund and Jeno Zamaróczy which are buried in Budapest. Maybe Liborius, Adelheide and their daughter Juliana were together living also in Budapest after year 1909 where my searching ends because of no other informations. Liborius and also his one sone Arpád (myhusbands great great grand father) were working at county office (Szolgabíró) in Zsolna and Csaczai (Zilina and Cadca). Do you see some family details? I am going to send a few emails to some people that are also looking for Baumgartners, that I know, I really dont know of your Baumgartner, but I did find this , there was a Mihaly Baumgartner, he was a Roman Catholic Priest, for the Hosszúpersteg, Vas, Hungary, village, from the late 1700's to about 1880's. These dates that I gave you are approximate, but it is verified, there was also Baumgartner familiy living there. Next week I will go and read these films again and let you know what I found. Pls see in enclosure 1st photo of Liborius Baumgartner and 2nd photo of Liborius daughter Juliana Zamaróczy, her husband Janos Zamaróczy with some of their children. Boy is Káloly Zamaróczy. Husband Janos is uncle of Jeno and Zigmund Zamaróczy which were quite known persons of Hungarian history. I think that these persons were all living and also buried in Budapest. I add as enclosure also one document which is in hungarian and latin language and which is maybe important for identification of Liborius much more. I am not able to translate it. 	Leopoldina: Re: Baumgartner Dear Kathleen, I had Baumgartner relatives. Johannes Baumgartner was born in Saaz in Bohemia, around 1760. He was a "Maurergesell", person who builds houses. His wife was Magdalena Tochter. They had at least one son. His name was Joseph Baumgartner. He was born in Saaz too, in 1796., 9. October. He moved to Buda during his life. He was a calcaritex magister. He married with Maria König in 05. 02. 1853. They had 3 children. One of them, Maria Baumgartner married to in 1879. 	Baumgartner Tamás: Baumgartner's from Zala We are looking for Baumgartner's relatives from Zala. Baumgartner József was born at the beginning of 1800 his wife was Hochecken Anna. They have at least one children his name was Baumgartner János, he was born in 1851 (he was burried in Zalamindszent). His wife was Csohohai Etelka (she was born in 1858). They have 4 children- Anna( Heidenwolf Ernőné), János, Károly (USA) und Mária (USA).
