| barbhamel: Bernstein from Budapest | I am looking for information on my great-grandmother, Wilma (or Vilma) Bernstein. She was born in Budapest, Oct 22, 1878, and died in Berlin, Sept. 24, 1942. Her mother's maiden name may have been Glück, as there was a family member, Dr. Glück, who I believe lived in Szászrégen, Transylvania and the family vacationed in Cluj-Napoca during the summer.
I am also looking for information regarding my great-grandfather, Moritz Hirschler (Master Architect of Interior Design and born in Nagygorbo, Zala megye, Hungary on the 15th of July 1864. I do know that Moritz was a partner/owner in the firm, Platow & Priemer(Berlin)in the early 1900's until his death, Sept 21, 1940. I also have found documentation that Julius Ralph Davidson, the famous German-American architect studied under him at Flatow & Priemer 1908 - 1909.
Wilma & Moritz had 4 children, Katharina, Carl (Karl?) Heinrich, Charlotte, and Liesel.
Any more information would be appreciated and treasured!
