I am Sonja (Zaninovic)Viskovich.
My grandmother was Sima (Bogdan) Zaninovic She was born on 8th June 1881. Married in Sibenik to Luka Zaninovic. They had a son Vice on April 8th 1903. They had a second son Nikola(?) in 1906 but both mother and baby died in 1906 probably due to complications during childbirth.
Their first son Vice was my father. He was told he was Zaninovic-Aba. Dad died on June 26th 1990 in Perth, Western Australia.(He had left Sibenik for Perth in 1926.)
Sima Bogdan had at least two sisters.
She may have lived in or near Primosten Burnije or Vrpolje or Sejace near Sibenik before she was married. Sima and Luka lived in Crnice, Sibenik after their marriage.
If anyone can tell me anything extra about Sima (Bogdan) Zaninovic I would be grateful.
Luka (born 15th March 1879) had a brother Dragomir Zaninovic.(born 10th September 1883. Died 24th March 1948)
Any extra information given about Sima Bogdan Zaninovic will be greatly appreciated.
