My name is Lubomir Busfy, and for at least 4 last generations my family has lived in Slovakia, up north around Zilina. But our surname is hungarian, so I was wondering if anyone heard of someone named Busfy who settled down in Slovakia in 19 century or possibly further back, and who could possibly be my ancestor

P.S. there is a small village near Zilina called Sulov where my great-grandparents, grandparents and parents used to live. There is still about a dozen of families named Busfy in this village. My great-grandmother died in 1982 and owned an estate, so she could possibly have been someone more important. if it helps.. |
