	lcigary: Re: Czigany ancestory correction Vicky, I confirmed with my dad that his uncle Alex lived on Irving Street in Joliet Illinois and was married to Anna Gruber. Uncle Alex is the Sandor Czigany who came over in 1906 and was brother to my grandfather Andrew or Andras who came over in 1908. Their father's name was Antal or Anthony and he was living in Szil when they emigrated/immigrated. I have contacted several Czigany folks in the village of Szil but no one alive remembers anything about a Sandor, Andras or Antal Czigany. My grandfather put down on my father's baptismal record that he(Andrew) was baptized in another village so I sent away for baptismal/marriage/death records for that village and am awaiting them. 	cigary: Re: Czigany ancestory correction I have successfully found the trail of my ancestors in the village of Szil using marriage and birth records.
