I have entered my town of birth Mezotur in your topoindex.
The opportunity to visit only became possible this week, so I have limited
plans at present.
It appears it is best to fly Sydney/Singapore/Budapest/Belgrade. I have not
checked any
direct flights to Belgrade which avoids the Budapest leg as yet.
My problem is to figure out how to proceed from Belgrade to Szilagyerked and
the return.
I must hire a automatic car and as I want to see Sighisoara. I was thinking
about taking a
tour from Belgrade to Sighisoara and stopping there to hire a car. On the
return, I would have to
drive back to Sighisoara, return the car, catch a bus tour to Belgrade and
return flight from there.
I am not relying on anyone this time, I am coming alone.
A rough date is first to the end of August.
Some observation/advice would be very appreciated.
Also, how is the safety with a lone person with a hired car. I have received
some warnings.
