| Aat van Rijn: Endrody family history | My mother Vilma Endrody was born in Nitra on 15 november 1
914 and I do have a lot of family still living there.
She came after the first worldwar to Warmond, a small village in Holland. She married my father Cornelis van Rijn in 1940, 6 children were born from this relation. Two girls, Anne-Marie and Lidy, and four boys, Piet, Kees, Theo and me as benjamin. My parents died both in 2001, my mother on the 28th of january at the age of 86, and my father at the blessed age of almost 97.
I do have a photo in black&white with a familycoat of arms,
dated 1480, ENDRODI-SZEPLAKI,ENDRODY{written in tall caracters},csalad cimere 1480.
Would be very pleased to get some more information about the history of the family from my motherside.
Unfortunately I do not speak one word Ungarian, have visited
Budapest several times, even one time together with my mother, and I love the place very much, it feels like home.
In the spring of 2007, I`ll go to Nitra to see the family there, and ofcourse a visit to Budapest after it!
