He began his theatre career in Szeged 1922 and Budapest from 1923.He married my mother in Budapest, Josephine, nee Vollenweider, she came to England in 1934. Erczkovy was a Hungarian Jew and in 1941 joined OMIKE the Hungarian Jewish theatre. My mother was never able to make contact with him, or trace, him after the mass murder of the Jews of Hungary. I want to have any help to know when and how he died and whether he had any living relatives. |
