| Radix: Lease contract from 1859 | This is an old document I was lucky to buy in the fleamarket in Pécs.
The document is a lease contract between count Zsigmond Szaplonczay and Itzik Fógel, issued in Veresmart (Tiszaveresmart, now Tisa in Romania). The contract extends the lease of a lot to Itzik Fogel in Alsóróna (Alsorona, now Rona de Jos in Romania) for another 10 year period.
Signed by Zsigmond Szaplonczay, Itzik Fogel (in Hebrew), then Páll Fülep and Léb Fogel (in Hebrew) as witnesses.
Probably a nice piece of the Fogel family history in Transylvania. |
