| Elisabeth Babarci: Re: Gossmann family | Dear Leon,
I was so nice to hear of you and your family in South Africa. I had almost given up on anyone responding to the site.
Our wing of the Gossmann family, i.e. my father's first cousins are scattered across the world in Australia, Switzerland and our family in Canada. I have not been able to find out much about my great grandfather, but the Gossmanns's settled in southern Hungary in a Schwab village named Babarc. There are a few people left who still remember him, and I have been trying to gain more information. Their mother tongue was German, although they lived in Hungary
When did your family leave Germany and what part of Germany did they come from? I hope that they found a better life in South Africa.
Best wishes,
Elisabeth Babarci
