| Muehsam: Re: Hohr | Many thanks for your quick response. Sighisoara, Transylvania, was once part of the Austro/Hungarian Empire, then Hungary and now part of Romania. The families were German Saxon's, and from the documentation that I have acquired, many members of the family kept the German names of the towns, others changed names of place of birth depending on what country owned it at that time. Portraits that I have been fortunate to have acquired state Sighisoara, Transylvania. All very confusing for a novice like me.
