My grandfather's name was "George Kido", born June 15, 1886 and migrated to the U.S. in 1909. My grandmother's name was "Anna Klucinec" before she married my grandfather, was born May 20, 1884, and came to the U.S. in 1913 with her son Joseph. My grandmother died in 1964 and in her obituary it stated that she had 3 surviving brothers: Mike Klucinec, in Chicago, IL, USA; John Klucinec, in Tarentum, PA, USA, and Vendel Klucinec, in Stiavnik, Slovakia (this might be one of the listings you provided. Any information you might provide regarding my grandparent's parents would be greatly appreciated. I hear from my mother that my grandfather, George Kido, was an illegitimate child and his mother's surname was "Kido", but I don't know her first. I've enclosed a picture of my grandmother (Anna Klucinec Kido) with her son Joseph and her girlfriend (don't know name) just before they left Stiavnik for the US in 1913. Also, I'm enclosing a picture of what I believe is my grandfather's mother, who had the last name of Kido. |
