In 1902, my g-mother ELSIE ELIZABETH IGNATKO, IGNACZ -- emigrated from Berencs, Retkozberencs (Szabolcs) -or- from Berencs (Nyitra), Hungary (now: Branc (Nitra okres) (Nitriansky kraj, after Slovakia annexation). From the port of Bremen, aboard the ss Cassel.
If I have found the correct manifest, g-mother came to Passaic, NJ and an acquaintance of travel companion: 26-yr old Zuza KOSZTKA.
